According to the contest rules in order to win you must pick players you believe will have the worst performances this season. According to a Fantasy Sports Business newsletter sent on May 21, 2009 the most exciting features of Stinkball.com are the weekly and season pass options along with the large cash prizes. Stinkball.com currently offer a free demo and the ability to create a member account and purchase a team at an early bird discount. Web site members can expect the fully functional system to be completed and tested by August 1, 2009.

ESPN.com’s 2009 Facelift: Fantasy Football for the Individual

By now you have probably seen the recently redesigned ESPN.com. If not, go check it out. The web site navigation has been simplified and fantasy sports options have greatly expanded. According to the January 9, 2009 article “The New ESPN.com: Is It All Fantasy?� by Jacob on FantasyFootballFools.com, “ESPN is trying to make it easier for visitors to get to what they need, want and crave from their sports coverage…I think ESPN is gunning to become more of a tool and direct resource for fantasy sports fans.� ESPN.com also offers a host of personalized features as part of the myESPN account. Site visitors’ preferences and settings will now follow them as they surf the site. All in all, the new version of ESPN.com creates an easier and more satisfying experience for fantasy football players.

Fantasy Football Joins Forces with Facebook.com

Since the fall of 2008 fantasy football and Facebook have been in bed together. Facebook has achieved unprecedented success over the last year and is smart enough to know the value of getting in on a lucrative market like fantasy sports. So, now you can hang with your friends online and get your fantasy football game on too. Uniting the power of Facebook applications with fantasy football (and other fantasy sports) allows fantasy sports companies to identify where sports fanatics are gathered and bring the games to them. In a Washington Times article published on September 9, 2008, written by Tim Lemke, titled “Need a fantasy football fix? Facebook may be the new place to get it,� Mike Kerns, founder and CEO of Citizen Sports, states, “What we found, in our opinion, is that more and more people are going to [fewer] sites. The companies in the next generation that will stand to benefit are those that direct their information to where most people spend their time.�

In addition to a variety of new Facebook applications, Facebook.com is also joining forces with LeagueFinder to create a Facebook application to help fantasy football players find the perfect league. According to the article “Fantasy Sports Finds a Matchmaker� written by Wall Street Journal reporter Nando Di Fino on March 26, 2009, “Anyone with a Facebook account can access LeagueFinder. After revealing as much or as little as you'd like about the kind of league you want to join, and your matches appear immediately. LeagueFinder allows a fantasy player to choose difficulty level, league size, the entry fee and several other sorting characteristics.�

So, these are just a few of the changes in fantasy football that may affect you as the 2009 season begins. Always explore the new features and tools fantasy sports web sites of all kinds are offering. The majority have been created to enhance the fantasy player’s experience and to continue evolving fantasy games to the next level. Look to the future and you will catch a glimpse of what fantasy football can be.

The Power of Keywords in your Adveritising Campaign: READ THIS ONE: From my early corporate days, we would send an email and because we knew people would bypass alot of emails. if there was something important we would put in the Subject Lines: "READ THIS ONE". Such is the case with this post if you are serious about Adveritising Online (Text,Graphics,Video,TV,etc.)

We've discussed running Ads on Google, Yahoo, Microsoft, etc. We expressed the need to get the message out via advertising using Text, Graphics, Video, TV etc.. In each of thesemethods there is one critical component in your campaign, KEYWORDS . They can in some case MAKE or BREAK your goal of a successful Campaign.

There is a FREE, yes FREE tool that will allow you to type in one keyword and you will be given at least 200 Keywords AND be told where those keywords you are being provided at RANK on the Majof Search Engines like Google, Yahoo and MSN. You heard that right. You tell the progam just one keyword and it gives you about 200 similar keywords and also it tells you where those key words you were given, RANK on the major Search engines. You can export those keywords to a .csv file or save them. Did I say that the 200 word version is free? It is!

Here's a story (excuse me I have to tell it). I was talking to some representatives at one the aforementioned major Search engine companies and I kid you not. How To Make Money From Passions

To make money online many people jump right in before they are properly prepared. You know that to be a rocket scientist, a doctor, a brick layer, a construction worker, an office worker, a teacher there are prerequisites, things you must learn, before you can be successful, you don't just jump right in unprepared.

The same applies to the Internet marketing industry even though there are unsavory people out there who'd have you believe it's a "Walk in the Park" and requires no more than the belief that you can just do it.

And I'll have to admit, it is a walk in the park compared to what you have to put up with in the working world punching a clock being a subordinate to someone who does not have your interests in mind, but there are still rules you have to follow and pitfalls you must avoid to actually make Internet marketing work for you.

Most people will not make a dime online and yet there are others who will make more in one month than most people make in a whole year. Why is that?

My answer begins with the age-old chicken or egg question, "what comes first the chicken or the egg"? Personally I vote for, well never mind, each argument you or I make comes back to the same old conclusion - I have no clue and I don't think many of us do either.

But one thing I do have a clue about and know for sure is that to make money online you must first have Passion for the company products and/or service of any Internet business from which you expect to make money.

Passion in this sense simply means that you've researched and like the company and products or services. It is then that you translate that like (or Passion) into the education, excitement and work that usually accompany Passion.

I will have to say that many online entrepreneurs are so good at what they do that they ignore passion because they can sell anything. But I'm concerned about those of you who are not so knowledgeable at working an online business successfully.

Now, I'm not trying to make anyone believe that Passion is the only thing necessary. Because to be successful you must also have a good website, good marketing, widespread advertising, company support, effective keywords, and etc. Those things are often learned from the company you join - but sidestep Passion and you reduce your chances for success dramatically.

It therefore follows that, if you have no Passion for the company and the products and services provided by that company, again, you won't attempt to do the work you are being taught.

Comments like, well, that one sounds good and the compensation plan is excellent so I guess I'll start that business - does not sound like a decision based on anything near Passion. And remember when you hear that an Internet "guru" does that, don't be tempted, because as I said earlier they are experienced and can sell just about anything, without being Passionate about the company products and services.

Note: By the way it's your goal to get to the point where you can sell about anything online. That end skill and goal is a worthy one indeed.
